Improve the quality of your tufted carpet seams with a "serpent edge" seam that will not peak. This wavy design prevents "hinging action", because the carpet edges crisscross the center line of the tape. Also, serpent seams are stronger because there is more length of seam on the same amount of tape – compared to a straight seam. The curves are gentle and easy to follow with a knife. The straight side is provided for resilient work. Made from 1/8" thick rust resistant galvanized steel. Supplied with nonskid backing on one side. Both sides are precision ground, and easy-to-follow instructions are supplied with each tool.
