This is Crain Item No. 850. Used for 1/16" cap strip only as the punch is made from thinner material, letting it enter narrower channels such as used on plastic laminate installations. Should only be used on 18 gauge (.049"), or lighter, aluminum as other materials will cause tip breakage. Die set is made from heat treated alloy tool steel. Throat depth is 1".
